The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) specifies requirements for learning and development and for safeguarding children.
The Nursery is committed to an inclusive environment providing equality of opportunity. We set out to support all children to attain their maximum potential within their individual capabilities.
We promote an environment within The Early Years Foundation Stage to support and enhance all children’s learning and development holistically through play based activities. We develop tailor-made activities based on observations which inform future planning and draw on children’s needs and interests.
The key-person regularly plans, observes and records your child’s learning journey via an online app called ‘2simple’ The app creates a photographic report of your child’s learning and development during their time at Nursery, along with progress summaries across ‘The Early Years Foundation Stage.’ Records of your child’s observations are also made available to you to view regularly through the ‘parent share’ email system.
